Read All About It

The museum's first book, Flintham Looks Forward, A Nottinghamshire Village 1913-1928, is now available.

The book looks at village life just before and during World War One and details how residents coped while so many of the men were away. The text then considers how villagers began to rebuild their lives and adjusted to new ways of working in post-war Britain. There is one free copy for every Flintham household, thanks to a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund. Other copies are available at 5 pounds plus postage.
